Job Title: Assistant/ Manager, Specification & Sales (Building Materials)

The Assistant Manager / Manager, Specification & Sales will be responsible for promoting and specifying the company's products to architects, designers, and developers. This role is key in driving business growth by creating brand awareness and building strong relationships within the industry.
The Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of specification executives to provide product information and ensure products are specified in architectural projects
* Collaborate closely with architects and designers to ensure product specification aligns with sales goals
* Proactively seek and establish relationships with new clients to expand market share
* Maintain and cultivate strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
* Conduct product presentations to architects, designers, and stakeholders, highlighting key features and benefits
* Work with contractors and carpenters to promote products as preferred materials, driving immediate sales opportunities
* Track the progress of specifications, manage follow-up activities, and convert specifications into sales
* Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, logistics, and customer service, to ensure smooth sales and project deliveries
* Maintain accurate records of project status, specification activities, and client interactions for reporting and analysis
* Provide market insights to management to aid strategic decision-making
The Requirements:
* Diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, Sales, Business Management, or a related field
* At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the building materials or architectural products industry, with a proven track record in specifications and sales
* Strong understanding of product specifications and project lifecycles
* Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical information effectively
* Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with architects, designers, and specifiers
* Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and project tracking tools
