Job Title: Application Engineer (Sensor Technology)
Our Client: Our client specializes in delivering advanced sensor technology, control systems, and automation solutions across the Asia-Pacific region. Serving industries such as automotive, food and beverage, and logistics, the company offers high-quality products like position sensors and industrial communication systems. With a strong focus on innovation, customer service, and regional needs, our client provides comprehensive support, including technical assistance, training, and workshops, to help customers optimize their industrial processes.
This role involves providing technical support, conducting testing and analysis, managing documentation, and collaborating with project teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful product implementation.
The Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support for local and overseas customers and branch offices, resolving product-related application issues and acting as a liaison between customers, sales, and development departments
* Install products at customer premises, assist during setup, and support sales and customers in developing solutions, identifying problems, and diagnosing root causes
* Plan, develop, and evaluate applications for testing purposes, conduct tests on competitors' and devices, and perform relevant feasibility studies and lab tests
* Support the creation and maintenance of product documentation and document test setups and results
* Organize training sessions, workshops, and user training events, and provide assistance to customers at trade fairs
* Collaborate with project teams, coordinate application-related customer requirements, and provide technical guidance on application-related topics, while raising awareness of customer perspectives within the project team
The Requirements:
* Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
* Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
* Profound knowledge in sensor technology and application
* Willingness to travel
* Strong communication skills and the ability to resolve conflicts confidently
* Open-minded, team player with creativity, self-drive, and a willingness to acquire new skills and grow in the position
