Job Description

Our Client:
Our client is a well-known Japanese company, specializing in Construction and Engineering projects. They are currently seeking an Assistant HR Manager to join their Singapore office.

The Responsibilities:
• Provide guidance, coaching and supervision to the HR members to support entire HR functions
• Work closely with hiring managers and handle the entire recruitment process including supervising of one recruitment staff to fulfil hiring requirements within a reasonable timeframe
• Proactive in managing all hirings- Monitor recruitment status and submit recruitment report to HR Manager
• Assist in review, propose and implement HR policies, HR SOP and support HR process continuous improvement through process streamline and automation with the use of technology
• Ensure compliance to local legislations and statutory requirements in all HR related policies and practices
• Participate in HR benefits and market surveys to benchmark the company with best practices employers and make appropriate recommendation for enhancement
• Project lead for HR initiatives and employee engagement programs as and when required
• Manage employee communication including policy changed and HR updates.
• Implement HR dashboard and track, analyze and report HR KPIs.

Requirements

The Requirements:
• Degree in HRM, Business Administration, or related discipline
• Minimum 8 years of experience in managing full spectrum of HR functions and 3 years in a supervision role
• Construction industry experience is an added advantage
• Good knowledge of local employment acts and HR practices
• Excellent project management skills including planning and facilitation skills proven through experience
• Fluent written and spoken English with strong presentation skills
• Pro-active and consistently seeking improvement
