Job Title: Sales Development - Team Lead

The Sales Development - Team Lead will be responsible for managing and guiding a team of Sales Development Executives. This role involves the implementation of efficient sales processes, ensuring alignment between the Sales Development and Order Fulfilment teams. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a passion for coaching, mentoring, and driving team performance to achieve key business objectives.
The Responsibilities:
Team Management:
* Motivate, coach, and mentor team members to deliver optimal results through established and/or new processes
* Evaluate team performance and provide recommendations to the Head of Sales
Sales Development Processes:
* Drive initiatives to ensure efficient sales development processes
* Take ownership of sales development tools including CRM Sales Hub, Customer Service Hub, and Nimbus
* Engage with the Order Fulfilment team to align expectations and responsibilities
Team Performance:
* Drive the team's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in customer enquiries, sales quotations, lead generation/qualifications, and project support
Segment Responsibility:
* Manage the sales development for an allocated industry segment, including product selection, SAP quotation preparation, and pre-sales lead qualifications
* Handle ad-hoc enquiries and those outside dedicated segments
The Requirements:
* Proven ability to manage, coach, and mentor a team for success
* Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate expectations and KPIs
* Competence in SAP systems and proficiency in working with spreadsheets
* Process-oriented mindset with a focus on improving internal sales team performance
* Customer-oriented mindset with a strong understanding of customer relationship management
* Enthusiasm for learning about the company's products and solutions
* Reliable, responsible, and dependable, with a positive attitude toward fulfilling obligations
