The Responsibilities:
* To work under the supervision of the team leader/head, you will closely collaborate with Relationship Managers (RMs) to support client onboarding and assistance, primarily focusing on Institutional and Corporate clients from Japan
* Supporting RMs in onboarding new accounts
* Conducting Account Opening checks, including KYC, AML, and customer Due Diligence checks
* Collaborating with Front/Middle/Back office to deliver prompt pre- and post-sales service functions for customer issue resolution
* Engaging directly with clients to ensure their accounts are fully operational on the trading platforms
* Assisting the RM in implementing initiatives and marketing plans
* Aiding in the proper maintenance of information/documentation in compliance with regulations
* Contributing to process review and process re-engineering efforts to enhance internal controls and work efficiencies
* Preparing monthly reports, including business and marketing reports
* Performing other ad hoc duties as assigned
The Requirements:
* A Diploma/Degree holder in Accountancy/Business/Finance or equivalent preferred
* Possessing knowledge of or experience in securities, derivatives, LFX, and private banking industry will be advantageous
* Well-versed in Microsoft Office applications
* Demonstrating proficiency in English and Japanese is mandatory for liaising with native Japanese-speaking clients
* Exhibiting a positive, meticulous, systematic, assertive, and analytical approach, with strong problem-solving skills, as well as good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
* Being able to work under tight timelines and withstand pressure
* Willingness to travel, as and when required
