Job Description

Our Client:

The client, an international organization that provides various solutions to the Maritime industry.

The Strategic Sourcing Manager (SSM) will lead the sourcing strategy and ensure supply resilience on our key hardware and services infrastructure. The candidate will work closely with the Solutions Delivery Manager (SDM) to support the smooth deployment for each customer and under the direction of the Head of Operations (HOO).

The Responsibilities:

Strategic Sourcing & Category Management

* Manage the various spend categories in relation to our solution offering, including but not limited to:

* RFID hardware o RFID tag labels
* Electrical and network cabling services
* Consumable items used in our solution deployment
* Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
* Freight and logistics services

* Develop and implement a sourcing strategy that will ensure supply continuity, whilst managing our cost base
* Ensure that standard format contracts / agreements are in place for all critical vendors, materials and components with all necessary clauses including settlement terms at a minimum of 45 days
* Develop a Vendor Management Programme to measure, monitor and report on vendors' performance

Operations Excellence

* Together with the SDM, develop the tactical deployment plans that are in line with the client fleet profile, ensuring a fast and cost-efficient roll out
* Identify opportunities to develop a logistics network for inbound and outbound freight, sourcing and leveraging on best global and local service providers in supporting our deployment plan to customers

Order to Cash (OTC) and Procure to Pay (P2P) Process

* Responsible for the OTC and P2P processes related to vendor master maintenance, accounts payable (AP), order and delivery, tax compliance & corresponding internal controls
* Together with the Business Analyst and Shared Services (Finance), establish an adequate control environment and optimizing the efficiency of OTC/P2P process with focus to deliver improvement in working capital of the company
* Understand business / strategies for order management and improve/refine our business process in Microsoft Dynamics
* Develop and publish quarterly key performance Indicators (KPIs) to management

Process standardization development

* Support the HOO and provide input to the various sourcing, purchasing and supply chain processes, ensuring that our operations comply with all regulatory requirements
* To carry out other activities and responsibilities as directed by HOO

The Requirements:

* Any relevant academics
* Minimum 5 years of experience in sourcing Electronics & Electrical equipment such as RFID, NFC, LoRA, BLE and others)
