Job Title: Sales Manager (Marine Solutions - Distribution)

Our Client: Our client is a leading provider of marine electronics and integrated solutions, serving the maritime and oil & gas industries. Reporting to the Sales Director of the Distribution Team, the Sales Manager is tasked with driving sales through our distribution channel. This role involves crafting and implementing sales strategies, collaborating with the sales team, fostering relationships with partners, assessing market trends, and managing sales budgets and forecasts.

The Responsibilities:

* Formulate and execute sales strategies for distribution channels to meet revenue and market share objectives
* Support the sales team with the necessary skills and knowledge for effective sales through the distribution channel
* Establish and sustain relationships with distributors and key stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and cooperation
* Analyse market trends to uncover new growth opportunities within the distribution channel
* Develop and manage sales budgets and forecasts to maintain profitability and adhere to financial targets
* Monitor and report on sales performance and market trends to the management alongside the sales director
* Work with other departments such as operations, procurement, finance, and marketing to align the distribution strategy with overall business goals
* Keep abreast of industry developments and emerging trends in the distribution channel

The Requirements:

* Diploma/bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
* At least 3 years of sales experience, with a successful track record in meeting sales targets
* Preferred experience in the distribution channel, especially in the marine communications industry and Asian markets like Malaysia and Indonesia
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities
* Strong analytical skills for market trend analysis and identifying growth opportunities
* Experience in budget management and sales forecasting
* Adaptability to changing market conditions and emerging trends in the distribution channel
