Our Client:
My client is the Centre of Excellence tasked with driving digital transformation of the overall group.
They are currently looking for a UX Researcher to maintain the group's UX scorecard and to help understanding what working and what is not to join its growing team.
Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain our UX scorecard to communicate and refresh on regular basis to ensure relevancy across the organisation
* Design and conduct quantitative studies, such as structuring and analyzing surveys to evaluate the impact of product changes and gather insights at scale
* Balance quantitative data analysis with qualitative user insights to uncover how our customers behave and make decisions in their journey to inform business, design and product decisions
* Ability to connect qualitative research with inputs from Data Science, Surveys, Market Research and Secondary data
* Collaborate closely with other researchers, designers, product managers, data scientists, marketing and operations managers, and engineers to ensure research you deliver is integrated into every aspect of the product and provides a holistic view of our users
* Strong ability to generate and communicate compelling & actionable insights, both verbally and visually to project stakeholders
* Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to quickly develop recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative evidence
* Build customer empathy across the organisation to improve the products we build for our customers and always champion for our users
* Deliver high quality work with light managerial supervision
Requirements:
* BA/BS or MS in Computer Science, Economics, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
* 5+ years of work experience in a product development research setting
* Experience planning and conducting both quantitative and qualitative user research at all stages of product development
* Experience working across the full product lifecycle
* Ability to frame key questions, create research plans to address those, conduct research, and synthesize the findings into meaningful, actionable insights
* Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently on multiple projects at once
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Excellent assessment and analysis skills
* Independent & a self starter, taking initiative keeping relevant partners in the loop
Good to have:
* Strong qualitative skills
* Design skills
* Solid knowledge of and experience with Agile software development
* Familiarity with a programming language commonly used for data manipulation and computational statistics (such as Python, R, Matlab, C++, Java or Go), and in SQL
* Experience with remote usability testing tools
