Our Client:
Our client is a well-established Japanese company, specialising in Steel, Chemical and Industrial Gas solutions. They are currently looking for a Finance Analyst/ Assistant Manager to join their growing team in Singapore.
The Responsibilities:
• Prepare and consolidate Southeast Asia & India Group and Company post-closing analysis monthly, quarterly, yearly management reporting and presentation materials
• Collect, analyze, and interprete historical and current financial data of Company and Group performance with detailed financial status reports
• Collate Group companies monthly reporting package for monthly management P&L review
• Quarterly forecasting process for Southeast Asia & India group companies
• Prepare annual budget preparation for Southeast Asia & India group companies
• Working capital management for Southeast Asia & India group companies
• Assist, develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor business performance
• Collaborate with group companies to ensure accurate reporting
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintaining the integrity of financial data
• Other ad-hoc duties assigned by Assistant Vice President, Finance
Requirements
The Requirements:
• Degree in Accounting & Finance with at least 3-4 years in financial accounting with experience in financial analysis
• Experience with regions handling
• Good working knowledge of IFRS, Consolidation, Taxation
• Good SAP knowledge and Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI and financial software
• Good interpersonal skill, Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication skills, both written and spoken
• Ability to interact with region teams and cross functional teams
• Ability to work independently and inter-dependently
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
