Job Title: Credit Control Officer/ Executive
Our Client: Public listed insurance company. In Singapore for more than 50 years. Excellent financial security rating.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure timely collection of outstanding debts by tracking overdue accounts receivable and monitor overdue accounts payable to make prompt settlements to clients
* Examine and resolve balance discrepancies with clients and liaise closely with internal and external parties to build and maintain good relationships
* Accurately update receipts/payments in the accounting system and prepare journal entries when required
* Sort out unallocated receipts by reviewing debtor ledgers, payment history, and liaising with relevant stakeholders
* Perform timely accounts reconciliation, follow procedures related to accounting/credit control activities, and support the superior for operational business when required
Requirements:
* Minimum Degree in any disciplines, with 2-3 years of experience
* Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
* Meticulous, well organized, good time management, able to work independently
* Familiar with bookkeeping and accounting procedures is good to have
* Effective communication skills within the organization
