About the Organization
A Singapore established chip design service organization, the company was founded in 2023 with Singapore as the headquarter of the business. The organization aims to invest, develop, and grow their services from Singapore and eventually expanding throughout Asia. With international alliance of chip designers supporting its vision and operation, the organization is aiming to be a prime semiconductor design firm, by attracting, offering, and developing semiconductor designers to grow professionally starting from within Singapore.
Responsibilities
The journey for rewarding growth and technological development starts from Singapore, and as a starting point in 2024, you will report to the General Manager in Singapore. Your responsibility as a physical design engineer will include but is not limited to:
* Be responsible for the layout and physical implementation of integrated circuits (ICs) on silicon chips
* Collaborating closely with the front-end design teams to craft the chip floorplan, define clock architecture, and strategize power management
* Leading the execution of comprehensive physical design duties, which encompasses placement and routing, timing closure, physical verification, design for manufacturability, and tapeout
* Exploring innovative physical design methodologies for cutting-edge process nodes, spearheading the development of an automated physical design framework
The Successful Candidates
* A degree with recognizable university in electronic engineering, computer science, or microelectronics
* More than 5 years of hands-on project work experience in the digital backend design field
* Familiarity with various EDA tools: the layout, timing analysis, power analysis, physical verification, and DFM
* Familiarity with automation and customization scripting: tool command language, python, perl
* Proficiency in both Mandarin and English is a plus. Your role will entail collaboration with overseas Mandarin speaking teams.
