Job Title: Procurement & Planning Executive
Our Client: Our client is a leading design and development company specializing in advanced integration solutions powered by innovative photonics technology. Their proprietary platform enables seamless integration of electronic and photonic devices into single multi-chip modules, leveraging state-of-the-art wafer-level semiconductor manufacturing techniques and advanced packaging methods.
The Procurement & Planning Executive will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of procurement activities and project workflows. Reporting to the Program/Project Team Lead, the candidate will oversee procurement operations, enhance processes, and maintain relationships with vendors to meet quality standards and project timelines.
The Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with project teams to ensure smooth project execution
* Manage procurement operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timely delivery
* Propose improvements to procurement processes, including sourcing strategies and workflows
* Interact with vendors to manage selection, evaluation, and performance relationships
* Monitor procurement budgets, expenditures, and compliance with regulatory requirements
* Draft and review supplier and vendor contracts for approval
* Evaluate vendor performance and provide recommendations for future engagements
* Conduct data analysis to optimize procurement policies and workflows
* Coordinate closely with the Production Department to track material status and delivery schedules
* Prepare and evaluate technical bid submissions and participate in vendor selection processes
* Attend client and production meetings, providing updates on procurement progress
* Support cost estimation activities and ensure the preparation of project documents
The Requirements:
* Degree in Engineering with relevant experience in procurement
* 4-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the manufacturing industry
* Technical purchasing expertise within the manufacturing sector is essential
* Strong analytical, negotiation, and project coordination skills
* Proficiency in managing procurement budgets and adherence to safety and quality standards
* Excellent interpersonal skills for vendor and stakeholder management
