Job Title: Senior Sales Executive (Building Materials, Showroom)
Our Client: Our client is one of the world's largest manufacturers of laminates and surfacing solutions, specializing in decorative and compact laminates for interior and exterior applications. Serving the Asia Pacific region, they provide a wide range of products used in residential, commercial, and industrial projects, including walls, countertops, partitions, and furniture. Known for quality, innovation, and sustainability, they offer certified eco-friendly products and cater to architects, interior designers, contractors, and end-users with a diverse selection of colours, textures, and finishes.
The Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with designers, showroom owners, directors, and other stakeholders
* Actively seek new business opportunities through networking and cold calling to establish new accounts
* Promote and introduce the company's products to both existing and new clients to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals
* Utilize marketing tools, including standees, decals, binders, and wire racks, to enhance showroom displays
* Deliver persuasive product presentations to highlight the features and benefits of the product range
* Manage timely collections of payments from clients
* Establish strategic partnerships with industry associations and influencers to increase brand visibility
* Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, logistics, accounts, and customer service to ensure smooth operations
* Provide market feedback and insights to management for informed decision-making
* Maintain accurate sales records by updating visit logs, sample data, and client information in the CRM system
The Requirements:
* Diploma in Sales, Marketing, or a related field
* Proven experience in sales, particularly in building materials and laminates. Other experience in waterproofing, tiling and surfacing products will be relevant
* A successful track record in meeting and exceeding sales targets
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
* Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment
* Strong business acumen with a strategic approach to sales
* Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office applications
* Willingness to travel extensively within Singapore
