Job Title: Software Engineer (Java)
Our Client: Our client is a renowned Information Technology organization providing software solutions within the trading and financial institutions. They are looking for a Software Engineer (Java) to join their team here in Singapore!
The Responsibilities:
* Enhancing the architecture and trading system within the financial/blockchain sector demands a system that delivers high performance, low latency, high availability, and high reliability
* Responsibilities include writing high-quality, clean, and maintainable code adhering to engineering best practices
* Swiftly addressing and resolving production issues in coordination with various team members is essential
The Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
* Knowledge of HTTP, WebSocket, and TCP/IP protocols
* Proficiency in one or more of the following programming/scripting languages: Java, Python, Golang, Node.js, C++, Rust
* Proficient in PostgreSQL databases and SQL tuning/optimization
* Experience in designing and implementing scalable microservices and APIs
* Experience with caching solutions such as Redis is a plus
* Experience with messaging queues like Kafka is a plus
* Experience with managing infrastructure on AWS is a plus
* Familiarity with Atlassian product suite (JIRA, Confluence) is a plus
* Knowledge of Kubernetes is a plus
* Work experience in the trading, financial, or crypto industry is advantageous
* Domain knowledge in blockchain technologies, capital markets technology, and financial payments technology is advantageous
